I chose to become a yoga teacher because I’ve always believed that the knowledge we acquire should, in some way, be shared with others.
My purpose is to teach the philosophy of yoga through the practices of Ashtanga, Hatha Yoga, and meditation, while also incorporating principles from Ayurvedic medicine.
I seek to integrate the wisdom of yoga with my background in psychology (I’ve been a licensed psychologist since 1999) to better understand the needs of each student—offering a personalized practice that respects and honors each individual in a thoughtful and compassionate way.
